Mindfulness Hike

Relax, Reflect, Connect

Combining a hike, a meditation, some thoughtful conversation. As we travel we'll create art with found objects and practice reciprocity

On a meditation hike you will be invited to explore inner and outer landscapes to make connections and gain insights while enjoying a walk through the woods.

A meditation hike is a slow, relaxed hike with amble time to reflect, observe and discover mind-body-natural world connections. It’s a slow wander along a trail taking time to relax, observe and learn about nature; possibly reflect on personal experiences of the past and present and set intentions for the future.

Sensory experience, gentle guided meditations and exploration of the complex and inspiring natural world can serve as powerful metaphors for understanding what is meaningful and relevant to each participant.  Total distance will be 1.5 to 2 miles.  There is uneven footing and short, gentle hills on a trail with roots and rocks.

Please note, this is a slow hike.  Total distance is typically less 1.5 to 2 miles. There is uneven footing and short, gentle hills on a trail with roots and rocks.

Everyone is welcome!

The forests, mountains, lakes and oceans are our ancestral homes.  I believe they are part of your home regardless of race,  gender, religion,  sexual orientation,  or culture.  My heart tells me this: and I am absolutely certain nature would agree. If you are interested in coming on a walk; then I am delighted to be your guide.
