Forest Therapy Guided Walk
Join Jeanne Christie of Connect to Wilderness for a Forest Therapy Guided Walk; a special opportunity to connect deeply with nature.  The walk includes a series of invitations that encourage you to use all your senses while slowly walking on a trail, wandering independently or just sitting.  After each invitation there is an opportunity to share. A special tea ceremony with snacks is held at the conclusion. The guide will make available mats and stools for participants.
Length: 2 ½ to 3 hours, rain or shine
Location: Start from Earth Restaurant at Hidden Pond Luxury Resort
Time: Friday, Saturday or Sunday at 9:00 a.m. by appointment
The Language of Nature /Healing Plants Walk
Take a walk and learn about the trees, plants and animals that are lifelong residents of Hidden Pond Luxury Resort.  We’ll explore their local neighborhoods, learn their stories, improve our powers of observation and enjoy the beauty of the day.
Length: 2 ½ to 3 hours, rain or shine
Location: Start from Earth Restaurant at Hidden Pond Luxury Resort
Time: Friday, Saturday or  Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
Nature Photography Walk
Want to develop a better eye for taking a great picture, but don't want to spend time sitting in a classroom?  A great photograph is a combination of light, composition, and capturing the magic of a particular moment in time. So many things to consider!  It can be so much fun!  Jeanne Christie will reveal the secrets learned as a newspaper photographer and digital photography instructor on a wander through nature. Sunlight! Camera!  Action!
Length: 2 ½ to 3 hours, clear skies to light drizzle.
Location: Start from Earth Restaurant at Hidden Pond Luxury Resort
Time: Friday, Saturday or Sunday--early or late in the day.  Mid-day is not a good time to take great photos outside. The sun is at a high angle and everything looks flat and washed out. Low sun angling through th trees is more colorful and far more interesting!
